Unfolding

Unfolding is a collection of five hand-drawn rose studies exploring the transition from bud to full bloom. Each piece captures a moment in the flower’s changing form and texture over time.
Drawn from observation in Sacramento’s State Capitol Park Rose Garden and New York’s Central Park, the works span different places and moments. Each piece begins as a detailed black and white drawing, then is refined digitally with soft, neutral tones to create a minimal, contemporary finish.
