Late Bloom

Late Bloom is a collection of three hand-drawn botanical studies inspired by flowers and foliage found in bloom around Boston in early autumn. Featuring berries, marigolds and a harebell. Each piece captures a fleeting moment at the turn of the season.
Drawn from personal photographs, the works focus on delicate forms, subtle movement and natural detail. Each illustration begins as a fine line black and white study, then is paired with soft, muted backgrounds to create contrast and a contemporary finish. Together, the collection reflects an observation of seasonal change and the understated beauty of late bloom.
